Bruce Duncan

Mr. Duncan brings to Canada Coal Inc. over thirty years of experience in the capital markets and brokerage industry. He is the Principal of West Oak Capital Partners Inc., which provides strategic advisory services, including identifying and qualifying merger and acquisition candidates and advising in public transactions. Mr. Duncan's client base at West Oak Capital Partners Inc. has included financial services, aviation, mining, oil and gas, logistics, and retail industries. Mr. Duncan currently sits on the boards of several private companies and is the CEO of Evolving Gold Corp., (EVG:TSX), Executive Chairman of Canada Carbon Inc., (CCB:TSX-V), an Independent Director of GeoNovus Minerals Corp., (GNM:TSX-V) and the former CEO and Director of Prosperity Goldfields Corp. (PPG:TSX-V). Mr. Duncan also has extensive experience advising corporate clients on takeovers, both friendly and hostile, either by designing and executing effective approaches to acquiring assets or by implementing defensive strategies.



Braam Jonker

Mr. Jonker was previously the Chief Financial Officer at Western Coal Corp. until its acquisition by Walter Energy Inc. for $3.3 billion on April 1st, 2011. He is a non-executive director of Firestone Diamonds Limited (FDI: AIM). Mr. Jonker is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa, England and Wales) and holds a Masters Degree in South African and International Tax from the Rand Afrikaans University. Mr. Jonker has over 17 years of extensive accounting and corporate finance experience mostly in the mining industry. Mr. Jonker is also a member of the Boards of Directors of Eastcoal Inc. (ECX:TSXV) and Mandalay Resources Corporation (MND:TSX) where he is also the Interim Chairman of the Board.



Michael MacDonald

Senator Michael L. MacDonald is a Nova Scotia businessman and long-time conservative activist who has held a number of jobs since the late 70’s on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. At the time of his appointment to the Senate, Senator MacDonald was the Vice-President of the Conservative Party of Canada. He serves on the Senate Fisheries Committee and the Committee for Transportation and Communications. Senator MacDonald is Vice-Chair of the Canada-US Interparliamentary Group, and serves on the Canada-Europe, Canada-South Korea, Canada-India and Canada-Taiwan Parliamentary Groups.



Richard Klue

(Edward) Richard Klue has been involved in the mining industry for over 30 years, including 18 years in operations and sustaining capital projects, and the last 12 years dedicated to project development and management. He is a Metallurgical Engineer by profession and also holds a business degree with a focus on Economics. His professional experience has involved the full mining life cycle – geology, permitting, environmental, mining, and processing, infrastructure, tailings, operations, maintenance and closure. Mr. Klue is currently a Senior Manager for Tetra Tech Wardrop and has held many senior roles such as Project Metallurgist, Project Engineer, and Project Manager with a major accent on metallurgical treatment plant designs and layouts.



William F. Lindqvist

Dr. Lindqvist has had extensive exploration experience and has participated in discoveries of commercial mineral deposits around the world. He has spent his long and distinguished career primarily with Gold Fields Mining Corporation, Newcrest Mining and Homestake Mining Company (acquired by Barrick in 2001). Although he has specialized largely in gold, he also has explored and evaluated properties for several other commodities including nickel, copper, silver, tin, tungsten, iron ore, clay minerals, native sulfur, coal and heavy mineral beach sands. More recently he has been involved in the development of run-of-river hydro generating projects. He is a former director of Plutonic Power Corporation and Orosur Mining and currently is on the boards of Evolving Gold Corp, Andean Gold Inc. and Luna Gold Corp. Dr. Lindqvist has a Ph.D in Applied Geology from the Royal School of Mines, London.

Mr. Fenton is a partner of the Toronto based law firm, Aird & Berlis LLP. Mr. Fenton’s practice encompasses corporate finance and merger and acquisitions. He is director and/or officer of several public and private companies.



Olga Nikitovic

Ms. Nikitovic is a Chartered Accountant and management consultant with over 28 years of work experience. Ms. Nikitovic worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers for 9 years in both the audit and management consulting departments. While consulting, Ms. Nikitovic specialized in re-engineering and cost management. After leaving PricewaterhouseCoopers Ms. Nikitovic held senior management positions with two of Canada's largest retailers. At present, Ms. Nikitovic is the Chief Financial Officer for a number of private and publicly traded mining companies. Ms. Nikitovic has been the Chief Financial Officer for Canada Carbon, previously Bolero since 2007.

Keith McCandlish

Mr. McCandlish has thirty years of geological and engineering experience in minerals, oil sands/heavy oil, precious stones, coal and industrial minerals. Since 2008 he has been the Managing Director of DMT Geosciences Ltd. an integrated geosciences, engineering and consultancy practise. Keith's special focus is on corporate finance, due diligence, technical audits, mineral project evaluation and mining fraud investigations. In February 2011 Mr. McCandlish was appointed to the Board of International Mining Consultants Group Consulting Limited (IMCGCL) of the UK as a non-Executive Director. He has extensive experience in the securities regulatory framework and corporate governance, acting as an independent mining and oil & gas analyst for the TSX and TSX-Venture Exchange (and its' predecessors the ASE and CDNX). As well, he is involved with the Canadian Securities Administrators as an advisor on mining and petroleum related issues. Mr. McCandlish has particular strengths in coal geology from exploration through to feasibility studies in both open-pit and underground mining scenarios. He has managed multi-million dollar explorations programs in Botswana, Canada, Colombia, Indonesia, South Africa and the United States. He has co-authored several papers on the carboniferous fossil flora of Cape Breton.



Susan O'Donnell
Susan O'Donnell, P.Geol.

Susan O’Donnell has seven years of geological experience in minerals, oil sands/heavy oil, coal and industrial minerals. She has contributed to a variety of junior to intermediate exploration projects through field exploration, reporting, comparative studies, geological modelling, and resource and reserve estimations. She has also been actively involved with due diligence evaluations and valuations of mining and oil sands projects covering a range of development stages (grass-roots through mine development) and mineral commodities for financial institutions, private investors and Exchanges. Susan has experience evaluating coal projects across a variety of settings, including Colombia, Germany, Indonesia, western Canada, and most recently, the high Arctic.
